Aluminum has always been part of the solution, and it’s a big part of my story. I spent 17 years with Alcoa, culminating with leading the upstream business for three years. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to manage one of the world’s largest aluminum smelting, bauxite mining and alumina refining systems.

Our ancestors in various parts of the world used to build their shelters with normal mud or at least they used the mud to insulate their roof tops made of wood or special cloth. Nowadays we still use mud (Bauxite) but after some processes that transform it into the silver metal Aluminium.
